Hi, I'm YiJun

I'm a Sydney-based maths tutor with 5 years of experience — both privately and at one of Sydney's top tutoring companies. I've helped students from primary OC and selective entry through to HSC Extension 2, and I focus on building genuine understanding rather than just drilling past papers.

I also built Mathalon, a gamified maths practice platform that my students use between sessions to stay sharp and actually enjoy the grind.

How much does maths tutoring cost?+
Sessions are $75 per hour. There are no lock-in contracts and scheduling is flexible. A free 15-minute consultation is available before you commit.
Do you offer online maths tutoring?+
Yes. YiJun teaches students online Australia-wide. Online sessions are conducted via video call with a shared digital whiteboard.
What year levels do you tutor?+
Tutoring is available for Years 4 through 12. This includes OC preparation (Years 4–5), selective school preparation (Years 5–6), and HSC Maths Standard, Advanced, Extension 1, and Extension 2 (Years 11–12).
What is OC preparation tutoring?+
OC (Opportunity Class) tutoring helps Year 4–5 students prepare for the NSW Opportunity Class placement test. It covers mathematical reasoning, thinking skills, reading, and writing.
Do you help with selective school preparation?+
Yes. Selective school prep is available for Year 5 and Year 6 students aiming to enter a NSW selective high school. Sessions target maths, thinking skills, and exam technique.
